The Art of Writing is a series of three books that aims to develop the skills necessary for effective writing at advanced levels. Each book presents and analyses the most commonly used genres at CEFR levels B2, C1 and C2, and most international exam boards, divided in sections. Each section starts with a warm-up activity to introduce learners to the concepts of each writing genre (such as emails/letters, stories, essays, letters to the editor, articles, reports, proposals, reviews, etc) followed by an introduction that presents all the key elements that characterise it. The units that follow, two pages each, contain rubric and model analyses of specific writing tasks as well as Useful notes and tasks that aim to improve learners' writing skills.
